Backstory
As a young kobold, Zenko worshipped dragons — especially the ancient red dragon Ashardalon. The scale of that power fascinated him. To Zenko, Ashardalon embodied everything he wanted to become.
But admiration changed over time. The more Zenko saw of the dragon’s cruelty and the innocent lives left behind, the less he could accept the bloodshed. Eventually he abandoned that path altogether and went in search of peace on his own.
That journey led him to a monastery of monks who accepted him despite his scales and his past. There he found a different kind of strength: discipline, martial arts, and the possibility of balance instead of domination.
Now Zenko dedicates himself to martial training and the difficult work of finding inner peace, carrying with him the knowledge of what he once worshipped — and the deliberate choice to become something better.
